Blog Post Final Reflection

Halfway through my first game I changed it because I made it way too complicated. I picked the layout of my game just because I figured that no one else would have a theme like the one I chose. At first I was having trouble with the scoring, and making it way too complex, but then I played around with some of the stuff, and realized that you only needed to have "When the sprite is clicked..." "change score by _." For testing it, I ran through it like it was a real game, and every time I saw a problem I would make a mental note of it in my head, and go back to it afterwards. My project worked out a lot better than I intended it to. I'm most proud of the first level in my game because it was the beginning of it, and I had some troubles but I worked through them. I'm not disappointed by anything in my game. I feel like I did a pretty good job for making a game with only my knowledge.

Before Game Blog Post

The purpose of my game will be to navigate your way through a maze filled with walls, and other obstacles. For my sprites, and backgrounds, I think that I'm going to use a forest theme. For example, for the main character could be a fox or a squirrel, and the obstacles can include rocks, or tree stumps. Every time you complete a maze you will earn a certain amount of points. If you, hit an obstacle then you're points will be deducted by a certain number of points. To win you go from the beginning to the end, and when you win: a noise and a saying will pop up. I'm think that there will be 2-4 levels. With each level it'll get harder as it goes, meaning: more obstacles, harder mazes to travel through, and more.

Scenes Reflection

The stage and the sprites can both be changed, and edited. To initialize sprites in a scene you just have add sprites. You could use a scenge change in movies.
